National News:After the recent ceasefire between India and Pakistan, the Ministry of External Affairs held an important press conference today (May 13). During this, the spokesperson of the ministry Randhir Jaiswal made clear statements about India's strategic position and future policy. He said that India's policy regarding Jammu and Kashmir and PoK (Slave Kashmir) is completely clear - this is a bilateral matter and the role of any third country will not be accepted in it.

Randhir Jaiswal's big statement: "Pakistan will have to bow down on Slave Kashmir"

Addressing the media, spokesperson Jaiswal clearly said, "Slave Kashmir is an integral part of India and Pakistan will have to vacate it." He also added that India will not accept any international mediation on this issue. Pakistan should understand that repeated infiltration and terrorist activities will now get a strong response.

Mention of Operation Sindoor: “Military action taught Pakistan a lesson”

Reacting to the military action taken by India after Operation Sindoor, Randhir Jaiswal said, “What we did was in self-defense and it was a strong message to Pakistan.” He further said that Pakistan must have understood very well that India will now respond to every attack in the same language.

Suspension continues on Indus Water Treaty

Another big statement came in this press conference when the spokesperson said that the Indus Water Treaty is still suspended. This step has been taken due to Pakistan's repeated treacherous activities. He also said that until Pakistan changes its behavior, India will not consider any kind of restoration.

Rejected third country interference

India once again reiterated that any matter related to Jammu and Kashmir and PoK is between India and Pakistan. The spokesperson said in clear terms that the intervention of any third country—be it the US, China or the United Nations—is not acceptable.

Balance military firmness with diplomacy

India has made it clear through its statement that it will neither succumb to pressure nor tolerate the gimmicks done under the guise of repeated peace talks. India has become more vocal at the diplomatic level as well. The message given through the press conference indicates not only to Pakistan but to the entire world that India will no longer compromise on the question of its regional self-respect and security.
